Paul T. Walkinshaw is an associate in the firm. Mr. Walkinshaw concentrates his practice on defending health care providers from medical and dental malpractice claims. Mr. Walkinshaw’s clients include hospitals, nurses, physicians and physician groups, dentists, and oral surgeons in a wide variety of specialties.

Prior to joining HDJN, Mr. Walkinshaw served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Rosemarie Annunziata, Associate Judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia, and then to the Honorable Johanna Fitzpatrick, Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia.

Mr. Walkinshaw's reported cases include: Riverside Hospital, Inc. v. Johnson, 272 Va. 518, 636 S.E.2d 416 (2006).

Mr. Walkinshaw has co-authored the "2007 Annual Review of Virginia's Health Care Law", Published by the University of Richmond (Law Review Volume 42 Annual Survey 2007 Number 2 co-authored with Sean P. Byrne, JD).
